The Victorian Medical Directory (formerly known by doctors as ‘The Blue Book’) is back in an online format. It will be the pre-eminent directory for doctors to make referrals to other medical practitioners across the state. In 2009, it's anticipated that the directory will be extended to include registered allied health providers. Listing in and searching the Victorian Medical Directory is free for AMA Victoria members.
The Victorian Medical Directory will:
- Assist with the referral process of patients
- Aid you to locate an allied health professional
- Locate services of need from other parties
- Provide a general information section that will include:

- Insurance Companies
- Hospitals
- Academia
- Colleges
