AMA Victoria’s Section of General Practice invited social workers, nurses, diabetes educators, occupational therapists, podiatrists, speech pathologists, chiropractors, exercise physiologists, physiotherapists, psychologists, pharmacists and optometrists to a meeting at AMA House on 17 June 2008 to discuss “improving medical interactions with other health professions in community practice.” With a number of general practitioners coming along, there were more than 40 attendees.
