Member Services Officer

This professional services organisation is looking for a dynamic and experienced member services officer to coordinate and deliver all membership recruitment activities, campaigns and seminar program. Located close to the city, this is an exceptional opportunity for someone who has membership or customer service experience who is passionate about working with members and enjoys working in a team environment, where the focus is on delivering a high standard of service.

Primary responsibilities will include:
  • Work with all member groups and the Marketing and Membership Director in the development of effective member services, recruitment and renewal campaigns and events
  • Actively recruit new members
  • Responsibility for the development, coordination, administration and delivery of the member seminars
  • Assisting with all activities relating to membership processing and membership advice, including subscription rounds, application processing, renewals and arrears
  • Assist with maintaining the integrity of the membership database
  • Implementation of membership campaigns
  • Implement the member services program and the new member program
  • Responsible for overseeing the leads program
  • Membership analysis and reporting

We welcome applicants who have a professional manner combined with experience in the delivery and development of quality membership campaigns, member seminars or educationally based events. This role will suit someone who has excellent customer service, communication, organisational, creative and professional skills and the ability to manage a range of tasks and varying workloads, at any given time. Experience in membership recruitment combined with the ability to work with people at all levels, are essential attributes for this position. 

The successful applicant will ideally be degree qualified in business, communications, marketing or public relations and will be flexible with working hours when required.
